I have thought of sharing this long time ago but things didn’t work out the way it should. Actually I have been looking for a perfect way or perhaps platform for this thread, and finally here it comes.

I am specifically gonna highlight the top three niches which I so much love writing and they have turned out to be my favourites before I have become a junkie on them all.

Before I start highlighting them, I guess a good many of us here does not understand what I mean by Niches. Blog Niche simply means article category. This simply means that when you choose a particular niche like food, all your posts will be food or food related. Having realised what it means, I will unveil the Niches I love so much.

Here are the Niches I love writing;

TECH NICHE (TECHNOLOGY)

Wow tech is superb, I so much love tech nice. In-fact; I started with a Tech site, then I specifically based on one of its Micro niche which is Gadgets related. Then I was only concentrated on gadgets related articles. Before I became a blogger, I used to be a Phone Junkie so because of that, it made me search more about tech and perhaps write it as well. So, tech niche is one of the niches I had loved writing.

EDUCATIONAL NICHE

To me, Educational Niche is the best Niche I had loved so far. I so much love this Niche. I got started with Educational Niche when I became a freelance Writer at Myunigist.com and Ngschoolz.com, before getting started with this, I had never liked Educational Niche but since it has to do with my Job, I have got no option than to dance to the tone. But now, I had set up my own educational blog which is “Ourschoolportal”. Although I do other related niche like Job Opportunity. That’s the current blog I love doing. So because of that, I so much loved an Educational Niche.

ENTERTAINMENT NICHE

Entertainment Niche is another Niche I love writing. To me, why I had loved writing an entertainment niche was because it has a versatile niche all in one. Because on this Niche, you can possibly write on several niches. What I mean to say is, here in Entertainment Niche; you can write about tech news, Politics, Celebrities etc all in one. But one thing about this Niche is that it is only or should I say news specifically. I wouldn’t want a situation whereby someone will get me informed on latest trending, but rather I choose to be informative instead, so I search the net on several occasions to get informed from the direct source. My first blogger Blog was an Entertainment Niche. I also enjoyed those moments.

RELIGIUS NICHE

Talking about this Niche, I am specifically talking about the Christian Micro Niche. I Had loved this Niche so much because I have an In-born passion for Evangelism. You know as a Christian, we all ought to evangelise because that’s our commission. My first blog which I hosted on Mywapblog but now has been shut-down. Endtime.heck.com was the first blog I owned but now it has been closed due to some host issues but before it was closed, I migrated the blog or perhaps the posts to Soundofrapture which was hosted on Blogger. So here is my advice to all bloggers “which ever Niche you are doing, make sure you use your blog to preach the gospel, if you can’t post it on your blog, you can still open a different blog for that where you can be posting once in a while just like me, thanks”

We all have known black as a neutral colour probably because it matches all colours. For example; a black trouser can go with a white top, a black trouser can go with a yellow top and same thing is also applicable to all colours.

Having known this, instead of getting a not-too important or a complete outfit that will probably need a to match colour before it could be a good spice up, for example, a yellow trouser can’t go with a white top nor a pink top but rather, it will be preferred to be a yellow trouser to a yellow top.

Now, instead of going with a colour that would need a to-match colour also before it could be a good spice up; why not go for a neutral colour instead. What I mean by a neutral colour is a genuine colour that can match or go with any out-fit or colour weather it’s a related or non related colour.

So getting a neutral or an all round colour match would be a perfect go or spice up for our old fashioned outfit.

Before getting started with a blog, there are so many things you need to consider or look into. now specifically talking about my blog LIFE, there are three precise things i never considered before getting into blogging.

When I started, I had shiny object syndrome. I used to run after every new product that was launched in the market claiming to make you rich overnight.

I had literally tried every money making method. You name it, I had done it.

The funny thing was that every time I tried a new thing, I expected it to make money from the very next day or quickly.

However, fortunately for me, it didn’t take long to understand that this approach won’t take me anywhere.

Now when I look back, I realize how important being patient was. 

At that time, I needed to find a method that worked and had to stick with it until I succeed. Adsense niche sites seemed to be most suitable for me. Once I made up my mind, I read a lot about it before actually jumping in.

This is another mistake that I have often seen bloggers doing. They just jump into a monetization method without proper research.

Instead, make sure you have enough knowledge of the field you are getting into and you understand what exactly you need to do to succeed.

Isaiah Joseph’s blog Omoscowonder helped me a lot in knowing the potential of adsense niche sites and how they work. Following his guides, I started my first reputable niche site and promised to myself to stick with it unless I make it big.

What motivated me to invest back the money?

I have seen quite a few guys working as freelancers since years. No hard feelings, but I just can’t understand why don’t they put in the same amount of efforts on their own site?

YOUR BLOG IS A BUSINESS

This is something I realized very late in my career. I never really took blogging as a serious business.

Not sure why I always had a little casual approach towards it. Maybe because I was into studies alongside. I wish I had understood this thing earlier. Could have been a game changer.


What exactly do I mean with treating your blog as a business?

When someone starts a real business, some sort of investment is required. That invested money keeps him at the edge and FORCES him to work his off to grow the business. That’s something I see missing in the blogging industry.

Because the majority of the newbies start with zero investment (like me), they tend to take it way lighter than they should. They don’t come up with an actionable plan that should be executed in order to grow it. Also, there’s no long-term strategy.

Let’s do some simple maths. If you’re targeting $3k/month, that’s $36k/year.

How many business owners do you know that make that much amount of money? And those who make it, see the efforts and time they put into their business.

Are you putting in even 10% of that???

A business doesn’t just get to $100/day and $3000/month overnight. It needs a lot of work, dedication and persistence to take it there.

There’s no shortcut to success. You will have to put in the required amount of efforts to get the desired results.

Another despairing thing that I have noted in almost all of the newbies including me is we want to be spoon fed.

We want someone to come to us, tell us their niches, do the SEO work and make money for us. I’m sorry but that’s never gonna happen. The sooner you realize it, the farther you will go.

Like any other guy starting out, I had lots of questions. And the EASIEST way that seemed was to ping the guys who were doing good in this field and bombard them with questions and call him RUDE if he fails to reply even once.

Sounds familiar?

Now think from that guy’s perspective. Why on the earth is he required to answer your questions? What is he getting by this?

I’m not saying that one should not help his fellows. All I am saying is that it’s important to understand that not everyone is in the right zone every time.

So, what’s the correct way of getting your queries solved?

Well, I realized this thing early in my career. I started to refer google for all my queries.

And trust me, 60% of my queries got solved by a mere search.

And for the rest 40%, I started Pestering my boss with the point questions. Believe me, He responded to the questions unlike earlier. 

Actually, i wish i has known all these before i got started, i would have done more great and would be a great testifier on the sphere. 

So my advice to all new bloggers who just entered the business, consider these three things in your blogging ministry and see how you grows-overnight.

On several occasions, you tried to look different from your previous look, oh that sounds very hilarious though. In the sphere of doing this, they would rather spice up their wordrobe, many does the otherwise.
